Biography:

Heather Calhoun, RN, BSN, HCS-D, COS-C, HCS-H has been in the home care industry for 25 years. She has extensive field and case management experience and has held many positions in home health and hospice agencies, including supervisor, performance improvement coordinator, staff development director, and appeals auditor. Heather has a vast knowledge of state and federal regulatory guidelines and has written many policies and procedures, including standardized nursing procedures for submission to the nursing board. Heather is a CHAP/ACHC trained consultant and has also authored a book on medical necessity. Heather is director of special projects and appeals for Home Health Solutions, LLC.
